You are invited to the Durham Art Walk--a unique self-guided shopping tour of galleries, artist studios, and impromptu exhibits in businesses throughout downtown, featuring the original artwork of over 150 artists. Shop! Enjoy live music, food and fun activities for the whole family. Pick up your map and start your tour at the Durham Arts Council, 120 Morris Street, downtown Durham.
Unlike conventional studio tours, the Durham Art Walk places visual and performing artists in sites through out downtown--within easy walking distance--through newly renovated streetscapes and plazas. Come meet the artists, enjoy the performers, check out the latest in downtown business, retail and entertainment, and buy local art!
The Durham Art Walk is presented and produced by the Durham Arts Council with support from The City of Durham Parks and Recreation Department
